Export SmartMusic Accompaniment - Select Staves dialog box

How to get there

Choose File > Export > SmartMusic®.

Classic SmartMusic can assess a wide variety of instruments. In this dialog box, you can choose which instruments to include or exclude..

Select Parts to Assess. Check each staff that you want classic SmartMusic to be able to assess in your SmartMusic Accompaniment. Choose Check All to select every staff for inclusion in the accompaniment. The dialog box displays the name of the part as it appears in Finale and the associated instrument that will be assessed in classic SmartMusic.
SmartMusic Instrument for Selected Part. When a part is highlighted, use this pop-up menu to select which assessable instrument will be associated with the part in classic SmartMusic. For many parts, Finale automatically chooses an instrument for you; if desired, you can change that instrument here.
Manage Parts. Click this button to create a new part or change the properties of an existing part. See Manage Parts dialog box.
Cancel • Back • Next. Click Back to return to the previous SmartMusic Accompaniment dialog box. Click Next to continue to the next SmartMusic Accompaniment dialog box. Click Cancel to disregard any current selections and return to the score.
