Fill submenu

If you've selected an object that's an enclosed shape (a rectangle, ellipse, or polygon), use this submenu to determine the shading of the hollow (enclosed) area - none (transparent), black, white, or any shade of gray between. If no object is selected, this command specifies the shading of the next enclosed object you draw.

  • None. Choose this command to give the shape no fill at all.
  • White. Choose this command to fill the object with white (0%).
  • 25%. Choose this command to fill the object with light gray (25%).
  • 50%. Choose this command to fill the object with medium gray (50%).
  • 75%. Choose this command to fill the object with dark gray (75%).
  • Black. Choose this command to fill the object with black (100%).
  • Other. Choose this command to display the Fill dialog box, where you can specify a degree of gray not listed in the submenu.
